Biography

Mr. John Mortensen has been a Production Director at DAT-Schaub A/S since January 1, 2016. Mr. Mortensen has responsibility of the production operations in Denmark, Sweden, UK and Poland. He started in the slaughterhouse industry in 1979 in Herning and has since then held several executive positions within the Danish slaughterhouse industry. After a two-year stay at Malton Bacon in England, he returned to Denmark and became responsible for the processing department of Vestjyske Slagteri. Since 2003, he served as Factory Manager of the slaughterhouse in Esbjerg. In 2004, he moved back to England where he served as Divisional Director in Tulip UK, and served as its Chief Operating Officer for all production sites in UK since 2013.
