John Lee holds a B.A. in biological sciences from Harvard University and an M.D./Ph.D. from Boston University School of Medicine. He trained in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he remained on faculty until joining Merck. He is Vice President and Global Head of the Quintiles Cardiovascular Center of Excellence. In this role, he develops insights and innovations to drive successful cardiovascular clinical and business development programs.
Lee was accountable for all clinical development plans, translational research and development programs, and Phase I, Phase 2A/proof-of-concept study designs and operational plans in that therapeutic area. As part of the CV leadership at BMS, he helped drive strategic planning for the therapeutic area.
