Biography

John D. Edwards (MS, PT, ATC) has been with Lafayette Rehabilitation since 1995. He graduated from Wabash College in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in biology. After this, John went to work on a master's degree in physical education (with an emphasis on athletic training) at Indiana University. While working on this degree, John also began working on a master's degree in physical therapy at the University of Indianapolis — completing both in 1992. John also enjoys being a sports medicine volunteer for various sporting events locally and abroad. His volunteer activities have included the World Basketball Championships in 2002; the World Swimming Championships in 2004; and the National Cadet/Junior Wrestling Championships in 2005. John is currently in the volunteer medical pool for USA Wrestling and has been selected to travel with four USA Wrestling teams. He first traveled to Thessoloniki, Greece, in 2008 for the World University Wrestling Championships. Most recently, John traveled with a team to Szombathy, Hungary. John and his wife, Krista, have two sons and reside in northern Tippecanoe County. During his time away from work, John enjoys watching and officiating youth soccer.
