James Michaud was named Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of Perrigo in August of 2016. Immediately prior to Perrigo, Jim was President of Human Resources Strategies, a consulting company focused on providing business based human resource strategies to a wide variety of companies in multiple industries. He has also taught human resources at the prestigious School of Human Resources and Labor Relations at Michigan State University. His corporate career spanned senior human resource roles in Alcoa, Arcelor Mittal Steel, and most recently, Cliffs Natural Resources, where he served as EVP, CHRO from 2010 to 2014. He is a member of the Michigan State University School of Human Resources Advisory Board, and the Advisory Board of the Global Employment Institute.
