Biography

Ing. JiÅ™í Žák graduated in 1960 from the Technical University in Pardubice in the field of technology and organic chemistry. After studying, he joined the state-owned enterprise FARMAKON as an independent research and development worker. In 1990 he was elected director of the state enterprise and in that capacity worked until 1995. After the privatization of the state enterprise in 1996, FARMAK, as and Ing. JiÅ™í Žák became CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors.
