Jeroen Cammeraat joined i-Optics as CEO and investor in 2010, and is the CEO and co-founder of Cassini. Jeroen is also a board member of IBA S.A., the global leading high precision radiation therapy company listed at the Brussels stock exchange (IBAB). A serial entrepreneur and senior executive with 25 years of global experience in the medical technology and life sciences market. A former VP of Philips Electronics, where he joined the healthcare division in 1992. At Philips, he took various commercial and general management roles in the company, including Regional Manager Africa, General Manager of the Netherlands’ healthcare division and CEO of a European telemedicine joint venture. After 12 years with Philips he launched the European Discus Dental venture, a rapidly growing privately held cosmetic dental company which was acquired by Philips. From 2005 until 2010 Jeroen joined the global radiation therapy company Nucletron as COO where he led the successful management buy-out in 2007. During that period he was responsible for the global commercial operations with offices in over 15 countries and was living with his family in Bethesda, Maryland, USA. Jeroen holds an MSc degree from the University of Groningen and an INSEAD MBA.
