Jean-Christophe was appointed Executive Vice-President, Strategy and Business Development in November 2013. Graduating from the Harvard Business School, Christophe started his career in the pharmaceutical industry with Ciba-Geigy where he held several marketing and international management positions, both in Europe and Latin America. He was appointed Vice-President, Finance and Information Technology and a member of the Pharmaceutical Executive Committee in Basel, a position he held after the merger of Ciba-Geigy and Sandoz (to create Novartis), until his appointment as Head of the pharmaceutical division for Europe, Middle East and Africa in 1997. In 2000, he joined the Pierre Fabre group as President and Chief Executive Officer of pharmaceutical activities. He joined the Ipsen Group in September 2002 as Executive Vice-President, Operations, in charge of the Group’s commercial and medical affairs activities worldwide.
