Biography

J. Robert Kane studies anatomical pathology at the University of Chicago. His area of interest encompasses both the histology and cytology of pathological conditions with a special predilection for the evaluation of diagnostic immunohistochemistry and prognostic markers. In addition to his concentration in tumour pathology, he practices a continued interest in microbial pathogens. J. Robert Kane studies anatomical pathology at the University of Chicago. Research Intrest

He is interested in understanding pathogenicity, latency and reactivation of viruses in their host to produce vaccine. He is also interested in how bacterial cells respond to the environment by altering which protein they synthesize and in how bacteria detect and respond to stressful conditions.
