In this capacity, he organizes and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the operations, engineering and maintenance personnel, and establishes priorities for repair work and projects. He also contributes in the planning and scheduling of outage work, and provides technical guidance or, if required, direction during unusual operations, repair problems, or system upsets. With a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Bielorrusian Polytechnic University, Mr. Chlapecek counts more than 30 years of experience in the field of power plant engineering. Prior to his current assignment, he was the power plant’s Maintenance Superintendent.
