He has a broad expertise in disciplines relevant for the testing of chemicals, agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals. István holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences, a master in Veterinary Engineering, a master in Agronomy sciences and has a special Traning in toxicology. After having been head of an animal breeding plant (1986-1989), he became study director at the Toxicological Research Center Ltd. in Veszprém (1989-2004), was toxicologist at the Central Station of Plant Protection and Soil Conservation Service in Budapest (2004-2006) and was study director at LAB International (2006-2007). Before joining Toxi-Coop in 2012, István served as Senior Scientific Officer at the EFSA in Parma, Italy during five years. István is author and co-author of numerous scientific publications and gives lectures in regulatory sciences at the Veterinary University of Budapest.
