Ian Gibbs Director Mr. Gibbs is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the University of Calgary where he obtained a bachelor of commerce degree. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Africa Oil Corp. Prior to Africa Oil, Mr. Gibbs was the Chief Financial Officer of Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd. which was acquired by Sinopec International Petroleum Exploration and Production Corporation for $2 billion. Prior to Tanganyika Oil, Mr. Gibbs was CFO of Valkyries Petroleum Corp. which was the subject of an $750 million takeover.
