Iain joined SSH in March 2014 as Principal Architect with more than 15 years’ experience in Architecture and Master planning of large scale mixed-use developments. Prior to joining SSH, Iain was a senior architect for Northgate in Qatar where he was involved in Phase 1 of the North Gate Mall and Office Buildings project in Doha. As site based senior architect representing the developer, Iain was responsible for overseeing the project management and supervision consultancy team and ensuring that the main contractor and sub-contractors’ work was in compliance with contract requirements. He also was a senior associate architect with design consultancy GHM Design Limited and has worked on overall masterplan for a new town at Al Falah, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for approximately 100,000 residents on a site of 12.5 Million sqm and he was responsible for design coordination and for statutory compliance. Before relocating to the Middle East, Iain spent 5 years working at a number of London based architectural design studios on UK and international projects.
