Biography

Howard Hughes serves as DXC Technology’s (NYSE: DXC) senior vice president and general manager for Workplace and Mobility offerings, focused on end user services, virtual desktop services, mobile device management, productivity applications and trusted information services. Mr. Hughes previously served as senior vice president, Global Client Transformations for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In that role, he delivered world-class global transformations, drove functional excellence and created a seamless and highly transparent transformation journey for clients. Prior roles at HP/HPE include senior vice president and general manager, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), where he reversed a 5-year negative revenue and sales trend and built a backlog of profitable business; vice president and general manager, UK public sector and account general manager of the DWP Account, where he built a consolidated UK public sector business with annual turnover of $2.5 billion in services and $1 billion in products; vice president and managing director, HP Services France, where he built a growth plan that beat the market and put innovation plans in place for all major accounts; and vice president and managing director, Applications Services EMEA, where he drove significant cost and profit improvement, and delivered growth in a shrinking market. At Electronic Data Systems, Mr. Hughes served as vice president and regional operations director; vice president, chief operating officer, ATLAS Consortium; and vice president, client delivery executive. At Capgemini Ernst & Young, Mr. Hughes served as director of Security and Networks, where he built and ran the Infrastructure and Security Practice; served as design authority and delivery director for Capgemini’s largest government contract; and worked as an architect and program leader across numerous major applications and infrastructure programs. Mr. Hughes graduated from Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, and was commissioned into the British Army. He holds a BS in information systems management from Cranfield University.
