He has an overall of 30 years of experience, mainly in the regional pharmaceutical industry and in various fields. He began his career as a gynaecologist before joining Pfizer, where he spent 15 years playing various key Medical affairs, Sales & Marketing roles. He has a degree from the Cairo University School of Medicine, specialized in Gynecology and Obstetrics, and he holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wollongong, where he graduated in 2008. Dr Hosam is a regular guest speaker in regional and international medical-related conferences, where he has been invited to talk about the role of content and digital marketing in the pharmaceutical business and about the impact of sales force effectiveness in maximizing sales outcomes. He is a fervent supporter of social communities focusing on autism and has been active over the last 10 years in studying the role of biomedical therapy on helping children suffering from autism spectrum disorders."
