(formerly known as Japan Line Ltd.) in April 1973 and Joined Nagase & Co., Ltd., Financial Division in April 1977. He served as Director and General Manager of Synthetic Resin 2nd Headquarters since June 1989; General Manager Electronics and Information Materials Headquarters since April 1995; Chief Integrated Planning Office and Assistant to the General Manager Financial Headquarters since April 1997; Representative Director and Senior Managing Director and Chief Integrated Planning Office and Assistant to the General Manager Financial Headquarters since June 1997. He serves as Chairman of Nagase & Co., Ltd. and its Representative Director since 1997. Mr. Nagase served as a Director of Fukuvi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. since June 2006. He served as Director of Nippon Valqua Industries Limited. since June 2001.
