He was previously Director of Plasma Protein Operations (from 2008) and CEO of Biotest Pharmaceuticals Corporation in Boca Raton (2011/2012). From 1999 to 2008 he worked at CSL Behring GmbH, taking on responsibility for the entire manufacturing division in Marburg in 2005. His first professional experiences included manufacturing as well as research and development in veterinary medicine at Bayer AG, and positions as manufacturing production manager and Director of Production Technical Management at Hoechst Roussel Veterinär GmbH. Dr Floss earned a doctorate in virology after graduating in veterinary medicine. Dr. Georg Floß was born in 1961.
