Biography

Gary Stockman, DXC Technology’s (NYSE: DXC) senior vice president and chief marketing and communications officer, leads the global, integrated marketing communications team and has responsibility for advancing the company’s brand, value proposition and competitive position with clients, colleagues, influencers and other key stakeholders. In addition to serving as CSC’s chief marketing and communications officer, he has held a variety of executive roles at communications and marketing agencies during his career, including global CEO at Porter Novelli, one of the world’s largest public relations firms. During his 12-year tenure at Porter Novelli, he provided strategic counsel to a range of clients, from startups to multinationals. Prior to that, Mr. Stockman was a partner at Silicon Valley technology communications firm Copithorne & Bellows, where he co-led its merger with Porter Novelli. Mr. Stockman also served as vice president at Saphar & Associates, a regional advertising and public relations agency, and founded his own marketing consultancy. Throughout his career, Mr. Stockman has led integrated programs for clients in technology and consumer goods. He has consistently sought new technologies and diverse talent to help organizations become more innovative, responsive and market-driven. His expertise includes brand and product marketing, corporate reputation, issues management, social media and digital analytics. He is also a former journalist. Mr. Stockman holds a BA in English from the University of Rochester.
