He is also a member of the U.S. Government's Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Intellectual Property Rights, the advisory boards of UCSF Global Health Group, USC Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics, Pharmozyme, Inc., the Dean’s Advisory Council at Stanford Law School and the UC Berkeley College of Letters & Science Advisory Board.
