He did his thesis work at Toxicon in 1996 and was employed by the company the following year. Fredrik has the main responsibility for Toxicon´s marine ecological samplings and is involved in all of our ecological studies. The studies and projects range from, for instance, monthly hydrographic surveys to annual samplings of benthic fauna. Fredrik is in charge of all faunal species identification, data analysis and reporting. He has participated in several swedish national benthic fauna intercalibrations, concerning the Baltic Sea as well as the North Sea. He has a professional divers´s certificate (S-30). The diving field work consists of, among other things, sampling (sediments, macroalgae, macrophytes, benthic fauna, etc.). Fredrik is also experienced in environmental impact assessments (EIA) and risk assessments.
