Francois Luscan started his career in the R&D department of the Pechiney Group in 1985. He would then spend 3 years as a production engineer in the flexible packaging division. In 1989 he joined the tube packaging division, known under the name of Cebal, as production manager of the Vienne le Château factory. He then became head of both this factory and that in Vandières. During this period, volume and operating profit grew 20%. In 1999, he was promoted Managing Director of the Cebal Aerosols division, managing 6 factories and generating a turnover of $100 million. Thanks to a successful development plan (notably the greenfield plan in the Czech Republic) and restructuring, he was able to significantly improve the business's profitability before selling it.
