Ferdinand B. Poblete has been Chief Information Officer, Vice President - Information Technology Group of Energy Development Corporation since May 5, 2015. He is a global information technology (IT) executive with over 30 years of diverse experience in cross-cultural markets across Asia, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and North America. He has held various leadership positions with responsibilities covering IT infrastructure, manufacturing, sales, logistics systems, people management, strategic business planning and management, and business development. He was formerly the Senior Vice President and Director for the Strategic Initiatives Office of Philamlife Insurance Co. He was also with Procter & Gamble (P&G) for 18 years, holding various positions such as Country IT Manager of Korea, Associate Director for Worldwide Distribution Systems and Associate Director for Business Information Solutions for Asia Regional Operations. Mr. Poblete graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, and is an alumnus of the Philippine Science High School.
