Dr Khan has been Professor in the Department of Anaesthesia, Aga Khan University (AKU), Karachi, Pakistan since 1997. She is also a Life Member of the Pakistan Society of Anaesthesiology, and was a member of the WFSA Scientific Affairs Committee from 2008 - 2016.
