Mr. Chaudhury was a civil servant and held responsible positions such as Joint Secretary of Economic Relations Division (ERD), Director General of the N.G.O. Affairs Bureau and Additional Home Secretary, etc. during his career. He also held a diplomatic assignment as First Secretary of Bangladesh Embassy in Libya for six years. He was a Director of Hotels International Ltd. (HIL) – the owning company of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Director of IFIC Bank Ltd., and a Director of the Security Printing Corporation Ltd. Currently he is working with Supreme Pharmaceuticals Ltd., as Executive Director (HRD & Administration).
