Wojcik is the Chair of the Department of Pathology and endowed Professor of Pathology and Urology at Loyola University Medical Center. She is a renowned pathologist who has a special interest in genito-urinary cytopathology. Dr. Wojcik is certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology as well as Cytopathology by the American Board of Pathology. Dr. Wojcik is an immediate Past President of the American Society of Cytopathology and an Associate Editor of the Journal of the American Society of Cytopathology. She serves on editorial boards of Diagnostic Cytopathology and Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Dr. Wojcik has been a frequent invited speaker at numerous international, national and regional forums. Most of her presentations are dealing with recent advances in urine cytology. She led international efforts to standardize reporting of urinary cytology that culminated with publication of The Paris System for Reporting Urinary Cytology. Dr Wojcik is an active member of CAP and last year she organized the first in the Chicago land area See, Test & Treat. This year, again, she led the Loyola’s efforts to conduct another See, Test & Treat that was very successful. She is a contributor to PathPAC.
