Eddie Adkins is a partner in Grant Thornton’s Washington National Tax Office, and serves as the tax technical leader for the Human Capital Services practice. He advises Grant Thornton’s offices and clients on tax issues that impact compensation and employee benefits, and he tracks new legislation and guidance. In addition, Eddie serves as a national executive sponsor of Equality GT, a business resource group for Grant Thornton’s LGBT individuals and their allies. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Eddie was a partner with Ernst & Young for 12 years, serving in leadership roles in the compensation and employee benefits practice. Eddie has significant experience consulting with clients on qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and executive compensation.
