Formerly a medical laboratory scientist, Dr. Janette Dixon has extensive commercial experience at executive management and director level in both start-up and corporate organizations in the fields of pharmaceuticals and clinical diagnostics. She previously founded and sold diagnostics companies based in Singapore and Malaysia and founded a pharmaceutical company in Singapore, managing the development of a drug for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori from the acquisition of intellectual property through to completion of Phase 2a clinical studies. Janette has broad business development and licensing experience across Asia Pacific, North America and Europe. She previously held the role of Managing Director at Pacific Pharmaceuticals Ltd and led the restructuring of New Zealand’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturing company, outsourcing production of 130 pharmaceutical products into six countries. Janette holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Finance and a Doctorate in Business and Administration wherein her research focused on the strategic management of biotech commercialization.
