Dr. Anand graduated from the King George’s Medical College, University of Lucknow, India. He completed M.S. in Medicine, a postgraduate degree, from the University of Colorado. His internal medicine training was at the New Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Canada, where he was Resident and then Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. His allergy and immunology training was at the National Jewish Hospital in Denver, CO. He was a Resident in Chest Disease and then Chief Resident in the Department of Allergy and Asthma. Subsequently, he was a research associate for three years. Dr. Anand is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians, American Academy of Allergy and Immunology, American College of Allergy and Immunology, and American Association of Certified Allergists. His memberships in medical organizations include Maricopa County Medical Society, Arizona Medical Association, American Medical Association, and World Medical Association. He was president of the Maricopa County Medical Society in 2003. He was the past president of the Greater Phoenix Allergy and Asthma Society and the Arizona Allergy and Asthma Society. He is also a member of the European Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and Western Society of Allergy and Asthma. Currently he serves on the Board of Directors of Arizona Medical Association. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, Midwestern University. Dr. Anand is in Who Is Who in America, Who Is Who in the West, and Who Is Who in Science and Healthcare. He received Physicians Recognition Award from American Medical Association for over ten years. He has also been selected as Top Doctor by Phoenix Magazine for over ten years. He practices with Allergy Associates and Lab, Ltd. with offices in Tempe, Mesa, and Chandler, AZ. He has served on AFMC’s Board of Trustees since 2009.
