Biography

Dr. Masashi Emoto is a professor of Gunma University Graduate School of Health Sciences in Japan. He got the professorship in 1993 and his main research theme is NKT cells. Before coming back to Japan, he has worked at Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology as a higher ranking senior scientist with Prof. Dr. Stefan H. E. Kaufman, who is now a president of International Union of Immunological societies, and published many articles in prestigious journals with high impact factor.  Dr. Masashi Emoto is a professor of Gunma University Graduate School of Health Sciences in Japan. Research Intrest

He is interested in understanding pathogenicity, latency and reactivation of viruses in their host to produce vaccine. He is also interested in how bacterial cells respond to the environment by altering which protein they synthesize and in how bacteria detect and respond to stressful conditions.
