Dr. K. T. Lalvani, B.Pharm, M.R.Pharm.S, F.R.S.A., (Lon), D.Sc (Bonn) Co-founded Vitabiotics Ltd. in 1971 and serves as its Chairman and Director. Dr. Lalvani served as research scientist at University of Bonn. He has won the DTI Science and Innovation award at the 2005 Annual Asian Business Awards, held at the London Hilton on Park Lane and the esteemed award, presented by Lord Sainsbury recognised Dr. Lalvani's breakthrough discovery of Immunace® which has been shown in independent published research to make a dramatic effect on protecting the human immune system.
