Indonesian citizen, 63 years old. Dr. I Gede Subawa has been Independent Commissioner since 2014. He started his career as Head of District Health Center Insana, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) in 1978. He was then promoted to various other positions including serving as Director of RSUD Atambua, NTT (1981-1983); Head of Health Department TTU, NTT (1984-1986) and Head of Health Department East Flores, NTT (1986-1988). He served as Head of PT Askes (Persero) Bali Branch from 1992 to 1995 and as Head of PT Askes (Persero) Central Java Region from 1996 to 1998. Concurrently, from 1998 to 2000, he served as Head of PT Askes (Persero) Central Java and DI Yogyakarta Region. In 2000, he was appointed as Director of Operations PT Askes (Persero) and in 2008 he was appointed as President Director of PT Askes (Persero). In 2008 he was appointed as Commissioner of PT Asuransi Jiwa Inhealth Indonesia until 2013. Currently, he is a member of the Committee Health Insurance Management Expert and Indonesian Health Insurance (PAMJAKI), which is a professional organization in the field of health insurance that provides continuing education with respect to health insurance management
