Dr. Mussani began her academic career when she attended the University of Western Ontario where she received a Bachelor of Health Sciences as the Gold Medalist and Presidents National Scholar. She completed medical school at the University of Toronto and graduated with honours. Dr. Mussani then pursued her residency at the University of Toronto in Dermatology. She served as Chief Resident for her program and won awards in both Clinical Research and Health Advocacy. She was a recipient of the prestigious Canadian Dermatology Foundation Grant during her residency and has also received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for her voluntary service. She has authored articles in multiple different journals including the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, Dermatitis and Rheumatology. Dr. Mussani is a board certified dermatologist in both Canada and the United States. She holds a Dermatology Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology.
