Dr. Eric Patterson Jean Leire, M.D., MBA, has been the Chief Executive Officer of DanDrit Biotech USA, Inc. since June 9, 2017. Dr. Leire served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of DanDrit Biotech USA, Inc. from April 2011 to April 2017 and as its Chief Financial Officer until April, 2017. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Putnam Hills Corp. since April 2011. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of ParinGenix, Inc. and Cantex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since July 2005. He was a Partner of bioStrategies Group and Bio Fund Management Ltd. He served as a Private Equity - partner at Biofund Venture and Medwell Capital. He was partner at Medwell Capital Corp., a Canadian venture fund, from April 2010 to May 2011. He was primarily responsible for investments in pharmaceutical and biotech companies. He was managing the portfolio companies Ipsat, Genizon and Santaris. He served as a Project Manager with Doctors of the World. He also served as the President and Senior Advisor at Bio Fund Management A/S since December 1, 2006. He has a wealth of both clinical experience and global pharmaceutical market experience to his role at APT. He has substantial background from several senior positions in many pharmaceutical and biotech companies. He has worked globally for many international organizations. He served as the President, Chief Executive Officer and Director at APT Therapeutics, Inc. He has 15 years of pharmaceutical experience, having worked at Pfizer Inc., Pharmacia and Schering-Plough. He served as a Director of Putnam Hills Corp. since April 2011. While at Pfizer, Pharmacia and Schering-Plough, he served as a Division Director, led key product launches, managed several sales forces, participated in clinical development, evaluated therapeutic licensing opportunities and participated in licensing negotiations both at national, European and worldwide levels. He worked as Principal at the bioStrategies Group for five years working with leading biotechnology companies. He also served at the Harvard AIDS Institute as a Research Associate and Director. He has been a Director of Blake Insomnia Therapeutics, Inc. since May 2017. He serves as a Director at Novicol International Holding Inc. He has been a Director of DanDrit Biotech A/S since April 2011. He served as a Director of BioFund Venture Capital from August 2006 to September 2010. He served as a Director of DanDrit Biotech USA, Inc. from February 2014 to March 30, 2017. He served as a Director of Genizon BioSciences, Inc., Pfizer Inc., Egalet a/s and FIT Biotech Oy. He is coordinating with United Nations organization such as UNHCR, UNAIDS, UNICEF and UNDP and - Academia - Research Associate at the Harvard University AIDS Institute. Dr. Leire received an M.D. from Grenoble University, France and an M.B.A. with a Finance specialization from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Business and ISA (HEC).
