Dr. Dirk Last has already been working at Klinikum Landkreis Erding since the beginning of 1996. Initially, he worked for many years as senior house officer at the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department under the direction of Prof. Dr. Bernd-Josef Klose, where he also completed his specialty training and obtained board certification as gynaecologist. In 2003, he moved on to the hospital’s Medical Controlling, which he was later put in charge of. Parallel to his professional responsibilities, he obtained another degree in health economics in 2007. In May 2010, Dr. Last was appointed as director of Medical Processes, followed by a promotion to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board in July 2013.
