Dr Valcour is a diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Chemistry (DABCC), a fellow of the National Academy of Biochemistry (NACB), and is certified by the New York State Department of Health as a director of clinical chemistry, endocrinology, therapeutic drug monitoring, clinical toxicology, and serologic oncology. He earned a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Vermont and completed postdoctoral fellowship training in clinical chemistry at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. Dr Valcour recently earned an MBA from Elon University. Dr Valcour serves as either national discipline director or co-discipline director of the following LabCorp programs: endocrinology, serologic and tumor markers, allergy, and hemostasis and thrombosis. Dr Valcour is a member of the American Association for Clinical Chemistry.
