From 2006 to 2012, he was CEO and president of Tornier, the US-based orthopaedic company, where he was key to develop Tornier into one of the top orthopaedic companies, specifically for extremities implants. Before his tenure as CEO of Tornier, Mr Kohrs was CEO of American Medical Systems (1999-2006) and held several roles at Zimmer and Sulzer Spine Tech. Mr Kohrs is now focused on non-executive roles in the US with specific focus on the healthcare and orthopaedic space.
