Dorit Davidovich Banet has been managing Eilat-Eilot Renewable Energy since it’s establishment in 2006. Among her accomplishments are energy efficiency projects in Eilat and Eilot region, several education programs, cooperation with the European union, Timna 50 MW solar field and establishing Israel’s leading RE conference held bi-annually.Prior to this position Dorit was head of the environment unit Eilat-Eilot for 8 years. That was were the idea of renewable energy as a catalyst for sustainable development in the region was first created.Dorit holds an Ma. in Geomorphology studies from Ben Gurion University, focusing on stratigrafics issues and earthquakes.
