Biography

 Debra (Deb) Thorpe is senior vice president, Centralized Operations Management (COM), for Kelly Services, Inc., a global leader in providing workforce solutions. She is responsible for leading the Centralized Operations Management team which serves as the delivery organization for KellyOCG®, the outsourcing and consulting group of Kelly Services®. Her responsibilities include Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), Contingent Workforce Outsourcing (CWO) and Payroll Process Outsourcing (PPO) as well as the Americas Strategic Accounts and Operations Staffing teams. Her team of experienced workforce solutions professionals identify and align top talent to meet the growing needs of some of Kelly's largest clients across the Americas and EMEA regions. The global Centralized Operations Management team is a key component of the KellyOCG organization, designed to provide process and operations excellence to Kelly's largest clients who are increasingly buying complex solutions to solve their dynamic workforce needs. An engineer by education, Ms. Thorpe transitioned to the staffing industry nearly 20 years ago. After holding management positions with regional engineering and IT staffing companies, she joined Kelly Services in 2007 to oversee Kelly's IT staffing business. She went on to hold leadership positions for Kelly® in U.S. Operations and Global Service before being named senior vice president for Kelly's Centralized Operations Management team in 2014. Ms. Thorpe has been instrumental in supporting the rise of women colleagues at Kelly as a founding member of the Company's internal business resource group, Leadership in Action (LIA). The group is dedicated to helping prepare and develop current and future leaders in the global marketplace. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and serves on the board of directors for HAVEN of Oakland County, a nonprofit organization for victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse. Ms. Thorpe has been recognized by Diversity Journal magazine as a "Women Worth Watching" issue.
