David Lundie joined Purdue in 2004 after a successful career with Élan Pharmaceuticals, where he held key management positions in the U.S. and Ireland. Mr. Lundie oversees Technical Operations (Tech Ops) functions, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Technical Services and Quality, across all independent associated companies, joint ventures (JV), and with strategic manufacturing and supply chain partners. Mr. Lundie Chairs the Strategic Manufacturing Group that includes product supply activities based in Canada, US, Europe, JVs and the ‘MAL’ region; Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand. With a primary focus on the major Tech Ops hubs in Cambridge, UK; North Carolina, USA; and Singapore, he is responsible for achieving supply chain operational synergies and the overall manufacturing strategy for the group of companies that includes, Bard Pharmaceuticals, Mundipharma, Purdue and Rhodes companies and their partners. Mr. Lundie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Genetics from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and a Diploma in Management from the Irish Management Institute. He is a member of the Rhodes Board of Directors.
