David Arrabito is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal’s Latin America Transaction Advisory Group. Mr. Arrabito has over 15 years of public accounting and transaction related experience specializing in cross-border buy-side and sell-side due diligence. He has extensive transaction knowledge providing clients with acquisition, divestiture, and M&A advisory services. Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Arrabito was a Senior Manager with EY’s transaction advisory practice based in São Paulo, Brazil. While in Brazil, he assisted both private equity and corporate acquirers in coordinating and providing a broad range of transaction advisory services including financial, tax, operational, information technology, and anti-bribery and corruption due diligence. He has worked on numerous cross-border transactions in a wide range of industries including automotive, agriculture, distribution, e-commerce, education, engineering and construction, food and beverage, industrial equipment, manufacturing, medical supplies, packaging, payments processing, professional services, renewable energy, security services, shipping and logistics, and retail. Prior to working in Latin America, Mr. Arrabito completed long-term assignments in Hong Kong and Ho Chi Minh City where he worked on numerous cross-border transactions in Asia. He also advised clients on cross-border transactions in Russia and India. In addition to his transaction advisory experience, Mr. Arrabito spent four years in EY’s assurance practice serving public and private audit clients. He has a broad knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and Brazilian GAAP requirements. Mr. Arrabito earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Seton Hall University where he graduated as valedictorian of the Stillman School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Mr. Arrabito speaks native English and fluent Portuguese.
