For 20 years Dave has held various senior management positions within life sciences R&D at Rhone-Poulenc and Aventis. At Rhone Poulenc an early career as Chemical Research Manager was followed by roles in global project management for academic and internal research programmes. Subsequently, at Aventis, projects included coordinating external chemistry programmes and managing the sale of two former Aventis research sites. Dave studied organic chemistry at King’s College London. He is a co-inventor of the animal health insecticide Fipronil and the maize herbicide Isoxaflutole.
