Dr. Daniel P. Gold, also known as Dan, Ph.D. has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of MEI Pharma, Inc. (Alternate Name: Marshall Edwards Inc.), a subsidiary of Novogen Limited since April 26, 2010. Dr. Gold was responsible for the development of Marshall Edwards' oncology compounds as well as developing the business strategy for the future success. He is an accomplished executive in drug development and translational research. Dr. Gold has more than 25 years of drug discovery and development experience.He was an Associate Professor at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center in San Diego from 1992 to 2003. His academic qualifications include Postdoctoral Fellowships at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, at the Harvard School of Medicine and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Center for Cancer Research. He holds a Ph.D. in Pathology/Immunology from Tufts University, Boston and a B.A. in Biology from the University of California Los Angeles.
