Dan has invested and formed companies in health sciences and technology in such areas as bioinformatics, sensors, machine vision, advanced materials, and medical devices. He is a Venture Partner with ARCH Venture Partners and has previously been founding director of VentureLab, one of Europe’s first science venture accelerators, at NDRC, and acted as executive director of the SFI Centre for Advanced Materials and Bioengineering (AMBER) at Trinity College Dublin.
