He received his PhD in Biochemistry from the University of London. He completed with postdoctoral fellowships at Harvard Medical School.He also received postdoctoral fellowships from the Joslin Diabetes Center and the University of Cambridge. At present he is serving in MedImmune as the VP of Cardiovascular & Metabolic Disease (CVMD) Research.
