Christopher (Chris) Choi received his BS in Psychology with the biological option and a Neuroscience minor from Penn State in 2001, and his PhD in Biomedical Science majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in Toxicology from Iowa State University. Chris’ research focus was primarily with neurodegenerative disorders (prion diseases, Parkinson’s and AD) and neurotoxic potential of metals; specifically examining the functional biological role of prion protein in alleviating or enhancing the neurotoxicity of metals.
