Blå Stjärnans Djursjukhus AB

Since 1/9 2013 I have been given the confidence to be the CEO of the Blue Star Regional Animal Hospital in Gothenburg. A job that involves leading an organization with highly specialized employees and committed people whose driving force is to increase the quality of life for animals to the delight of their owners. It is an organization that is always in progress, always prepared and ready to take care of an animal that needs help no matter the day or time of the day. Next, I come from the CEO's post in the experimental IT research company Interactive Institute Swedish ICT in Kista. A company like the Blue Stars Animal Hospital is a non-profit company, ie all profits generated by the business are reinvested in the business. Just as I was chosen and had the privilege of leading the Blue Stars Animal Hospital, I think I'm due to my experience of leading knowledge-intensive companies and organizations as well as my experience of driving and leading change in many different industries. I have previously worked industrially in IT, logistics and medical technology, but have also worked with research and education at Chalmers and Gothenburg University for 10 years. It is also at these universities I have my PhD and undergraduate education in IT. Working broadly, curiosity and open minds has taught that solutions developed within an area can be at least as successful in another. We can learn from each other both by colleagues in their own industry but also develop and change by taking influences from other areas.
