She has a Ph. D. in Medical Sciences from Lund University where after she worked for two years as a visiting scientist at Harvard Medical School in Boston. Charlott has a long experience from the pharmaceutical industry working in both large pharma and small Biotech companies (Pharmacia Upjohn, Active Biotech, Cartela and AstraZeneca). During these years Charlott’s work has been focused on inflammation, autoimmunity and respiratory diseases. In this work translational science i.e. linking effect to exposure and pre-clinical readouts to man has been a key focus. Since 2011 she is the CSO and co-founder of Truly Translational Sweden AB.
