Dr. Cees de Jong, M.D., MBA, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Chr. Hansen Holding A/S since April 1, 2013 and serves as its President and Member of the Executive Board. Dr. de Jong serves as the Chairman of the Management Board, Managing Director and Member of the Management Board of Axa Belgium Finance (NL) B.V. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Crucell N.V. from September 2007 to 2011 and served as its Member of Management Board from May 30, 2008 to 2011. From 2003 to 2007, he served as Group Vice President in Charge of the Flavours Division of Quest International. From 2003 to 2007, he served as Group Vice President at ICI. He joined Quest In 1989. He started his career at Gist Brocades, holding a number of positions in business development, strategy and general management and served as its Managing Director for the Industrial Pharmaceutical division. He served as Managing Director of DSM Anti-infectives and served as its President since 1998. He was responsible for turning around the Flavours Division, leading up to the EUR 1,8 billion acquisition of Quest International by market leader Givaudan. He served as Business Group Director at Campina and Gist-brocades, N.V. from 2000 to 2002 and from 1989 to 2000, respectively. He has been the Chairman of Supervisory Board and Member of Supervisory Board at Polyganics B.V. since July 2012. He serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at GreenChem BV. He serves as a Director of Protein Sciences Corporation. He serves as a Member of Dutch Supervisory Board of Quest International. He has been a Member of Supervisory Board at ForFarmers N.V. since April 26, 2017. He served as a Member of the Board at Quest International and ICI from 2003 to 2007.
