Cecilia Gomez took up the position as Federal Director of the Swedish Diabetes Association. Cecilia comes from a position as unit head of the Swedish Research Council.
Cecilia has education in biomedicine and journalism in his luggage. The commitment to diabetes is nothing new to Cecilia, who previously worked at Rolf Luft's center for diabetes research at Karolinska Institutet. When a family member was in diabetes, she realized what the right support, information and care could mean for the life of diabetes. Now she looks forward to the new service.
