Ms. Carolyn Corvi has been a Director of United Continental Holdings, Inc. since 2010 and Allegheny Technologies Incorporated since September 2012. Ms. Corvi has been a Director of Virginia Mason Medical Center Corporation since 2002. She has been an Independent Director of Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. since 2012. She has been a Director of United Airlines, Inc. since September 10, 2015. Ms. Corvi has more than 30 years at The Boeing Company. Ms. Corvi served as Vice President/General Manager of Airplane Programs for Commercial Airplanes and General Manager of Commercial Airplane Production of The Boeing Company from 2005 to December 2008 and also served as its Vice President. She joined Boeing in 1974 and has held a variety of key leadership assignments including Vice President of Aircraft Systems & Interiors, which designed and produced assemblies for all airplane programs, spares and aftermarket support; Vice president of the Propulsion Systems Division, Director of Quality Assurance for the Fabrication Division and Director of Program Management for the 737 and 757 programs. From 2000 to 2005, she served as Vice President and General Manager for 737/757 programs at Boeing, where she implemented its first application of lean manufacturing principles, including a moving assembly line that cut final assembly flow time for a 737 aircraft in half. Ms. Corvi served as Board Chairman of Virginia Mason Medical Center Corporation. She served as a Director at United Airlines, Inc. since December 2009. She served as a Director of Continental Airlines, Inc. since December 2009. She served as a Director of Goodrich Corp. from June 2009 to July 2012. She is a Co-Founder of the Northwest Children's Fund.
