Biography

Carlos Lopez-Abadia serves as DXC Technology’s (NYSE: DXC) vice president and general manager, Consulting, responsible for digital transformation advisory services, including strategic partnerships in the consulting domain. Previously, Mr. Lopez-Abadia was CSC’s global general manager, Consulting, where he successfully led the turnaround of the global consulting business in less than 12 months. He achieved this by establishing a new business strategy centered on digital transformation, attracting key talent, signing a global alliance with PwC and focusing on day-to-day execution of fundamental processes. Mr. Lopez-Abadia’s prior experience includes serving as CSC’s vice president and general manager, Diversified Industries, and vice president and general manager, Energy and Technology. Before that, he served as vice president, Global Services for Misys, where he transformed the services and software support business and managed a global service delivery network based in major global financial centers and offshore locations. As managing partner at Accenture, he led large technology transformation projects at key clients, including the UK-wide deployment of a new high-speed digital network and a transformational IT strategy for a major UK enterprise. He has also served as a member of the board for both Business Genetics and Ribbit Corporation. Mr. Lopez-Abadia holds an MS in physics from Universidad del Pais Vasco, in Bilbao, Spain. He also holds an MS in electrical engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Washington University, where he was a Charles F. Knight Scholar.
